Katherine joined Food Wine Sleep in 2011, after spending almost 3 years working in Public Relations.

Katherine’s experience in customer service, administration and public relations has allowed her to develop a strong understanding of the true value in fostering long term working relationships with all clients and business partners.

Katherine studied a Bachelor of Management at the University of Newcastle, with a triple major in Human Resources, Sport and Club Management and Hotel Management.

Throughout Katherine’s career in Public Relations she participated in a number of consumer product launches, brand awareness activities, seasonal campaigns as well as social media projects.

Katherine’s passion for social media resulted in her spear-heading a number of community engagement campaigns including the management of corporate Twitter and Facebook accounts for a number of high profile Australian consumer clients and brands.

Katherine was responsible for driving follower and page like growth through daily interaction, social media competitions, marketing of local retail promotions and upcoming consumer events. Katherine was also an avid blogger for her previous employer's corporate website, where she demonstrated a knack for producing comments, which stimulated posts and engagement. This ultimately helped to boost SEO rankings and the business profile.

Katherine recently returned to Australia from a 6 month European adventure where she experienced a number of different cultures and lifestyles. Through this she had the opportunity to indulge in various cuisines increasing her love for food and wine.

Katherine’s role at A LIST Guide includes social media management, researching Australia’s leading venues, suppliers and activity providers, client account management, digital marketing activities and making a valuable contribution to ongoing business development and growth.
